Evangeline Wade Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evangeline Wade (Benton, Missouri), born in Commerce, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Wright and Zelma Wright (O'Guin); her husband Charles Byron Wade Jr.; her siblings, Cleo Wright, Leo Wright, Gary Wright, Ruby Varnon and Viola Williams; and her great grandchild Nick Holt.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wade III of Cairo, James Wade (Linda) of Benton, Missouri and Lisa Vetter (Randy) of New Hamburg, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Wade, Wendy Holt (Chris), Chris Vetter (Greta) and Justin Vetter (Kristina). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel - Benton (100 N Winchester St, Benton, MO 63736). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Denis Catholic Church (135 N Winchester St, Benton, MO 63736). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens (61 MO-77, Oran, MO 63771).
