We announce the death of Richard Schiwitz of Benton, Missouri, born in Sikeston, Missouri, who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 72. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Martin Schiwitz and Ella Dean Schiwitz (Freeman). He is survived by: his children, Jesse Schiwitz of Scott City and Callie Schiwitz (Micheal) of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings, John Schiwitz (Ronda) of Cape Girardeau, Debbie Schiwitz Grogan of Benton and Janet Schiwitz of Benton; his grandchildren, Dade and Coen; and his cousin Kenny Schiwitz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
