She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Sheldon and Addie Sheldon; her husband Jack Ward; her son Dennis; and her siblings, Elsie Rhodes, Lucille Crain, Velmer Sheldon and Edwin Sheldon.

She is survived by : her son Larry Ward of Bloomfield, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Debbie Ward; her grandchildren, Michele Bascom, Kara Walker (Seth) and Alex Ward; and her great grandchildren, Ricky, Britney Bascom and Emma Walker. She is also survived by her family and friends.
