She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Mekan and Mildred Arnold Mekan; her son Jimmy Mason; and her siblings, Bill Mekan, Thomas Mekan, Launita McNeal, Margaret Parks, Ava June Armes and Frances Mekan.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Calvert of California and Shantel Calvert of Texas; and her siblings, David Mekan of Winona, Gene Mekan of Bernie, Missouri, Ivan Mekan of Bernie, Missouri and Violetta Mastilovich of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
