He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Carson and Myrtle Carson; his daughter Joyce Palmer; his brothers, James Carson, Truman Carson and Earnie Carson; and his granddaughters, Shana Briscoe and Melissa Briscoe.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Washburn; his children, Jason Carson of Maryville, Sevrin Carson of Bloomfield, Missouri, Tracy of California, Theresa of California and Frankie of California; his brother Charles Carson of Paris, Tennessee; his grandson Marvin Briscoe of Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Briscoe, Jaycob Briscoe, Jordan Briscoe, Tristan Poston and Tyson Poston.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Bernie (113 W Crumb Ave, Bernie, MO 63822). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
