It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Hatchel of Bernie, Missouri, born in Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Franklin D. Hatchel; his brother Donnie Hatchel; and his stepfathers, Lucian E. Black and Richard Blackburn. He is survived by : his mother Shirley Lee Norman Blackburn (Charleston); his daughter Jessica Pierce; his sisters, Jeanne Marshall (Glen) and Judy Duenne (Dan); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Christopher Hatchel, Laurie Bell, Danielle Duenne, Kate Ann Medlock and Victoria Duenne.
