With sadness, we share the passing of Kathleen Marie Joiner of Bernie, Missouri. Kathleen, born on October 26, 1947 in DeKalb, Illinois, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred John Simmons and Mildred Mareva McGlashan Woodward; and her sister Jackie Reynolds. She is survived by: her daughters, Cyndi Wilson (Scott) of Malden and Christina Smith (Brian) of Dexter, Missouri; her siblings, Joe Simmons (Lisa) of Illinois, Tim Simmons (Cheryl) of Florida and Tina DeGryse (Jon) of Illinois; her grandchildren, Isaac Wilson (Allison), Hannah Stanley (Dakota), Jocelyn Miller (Sam) and Harley Smith (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Arthur Wilson, Jason Wilson, Saylor Miller, Johnsie Miller and Margaret Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Bernie (113 W Crumb Ave, Bernie, MO 63822). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
