She was predeceased by: her mother Carolyn Kay Whitehead; her half-brother Lenny Stewart; and her in-laws, Reuben and Reba Owens. She is survived by: her children, Krystal Ann Owens (Derek) and Waylon Dwight Owens (Kendra); her husband Dwight Owens; her grandchildren, Dalton, Cane Hobgood, Bella, Mila and Vance Owens; her pet Sookie; her stepbrother Jody Scales (Laura); and her stepmother Lisa Stewart. She is also survived by other relatives, many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Bernie (113 W Crumb Ave, Bernie, MO 63822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
