He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Dueker and Naydean Dueker; his son Brian "B. J." Dueker; and his siblings, Butch Dueker and Elizabeth Tripp.

He is survived by: his children, Donald Dueker (Michelle) of Burlington, Kentucky and Melissa Kawalski of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
