In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Michael leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Meese and Mamie Marie Tucker Meese; his son Jack Meese of New Madrid; his brother Richard Meese; and his brother-in-law Jeff Eaton.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Deprow (Tricia) of Gideon, Nick Meese (Summer Mason) of Bernie, Missouri and Brandi Meese of Kennett, Missouri; and his siblings, Ricky Meese (Sue) of Gideon, Missouri, June Meese of Kennett, Lisa Eaton of McMinnville and Katonna Cline of Malden, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Bernie (113 W Crumb Ave, Bernie, MO 63822). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
