It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Alvis (Bernie, Missouri), born in Marston, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Richards and Eula Mae Hatchel Carson; and her siblings, Doyle Richard, Chester Richard, Glendale Richard, Robert Carson, Darrel Carson, Roger Carson and Brenda Owens.

She is survived by : her children, Quinton Meredith (Lucy Marie Hernandez) of Copperas Cove, Texas and Betty Kreher (Willard); her siblings, Ronnie Carson of Bernie, Missouri, Jeanett Schmieg of Granite City, Nora Fuemmeler of Rushville and Pam Gandt of Brownwood, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ashley Meredith, Zachary Meredith, Eric Kreher (Stacey), Julia Brock (Scott) and Cassandra Range (Bruce); and her great grandchildren, Edward Kreher and Clayton Range.
