Phyllis left this world on September 21, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert David Giles and Loraine Lanier-Giles; and her spouse Eddie Golightly. She is survived by: her children, Shane Golightly (Tami) of Fredricktown, MO and Carol Beth Blumenberg of East Prairie, MO; her sisters, Janet Price of Texas and Lisa Duckworth of LaCenter, KY; her grandsons, Colton Blumenberg of East Prairie, MO, Deacon Blumenberg of East Prairie, MO, Josh Golightly of Sikeston, MO, Dalton Golightly of Fenton, MO, Austin Hightower of Fredricktown, MO and Michael Hawkins of Fredricktown, MO; her great grandchildren, Ivee Blumenberg and Jack Golightly; and her close friends, Betty Williams and Jeanie Johnson. She is also survived by many other great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801).
