He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Albert and Madeline Ruth Bennett (Williams); his wife Mary Lou Carnahan; and his brothers, Charles Edward Bennett, Fredrick Dean "Fred" Bennett and Bill Richard Bennett.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Lee Bennett (Shawna) of Idaho Falls, Timothy Blane Bennett of Bethany, MO and Phillip Jay Bennett of Bethany, MO; his grandchildren, Travis Lee Bennett (Aimee), Casey Lane Bennett, Michael Keeton Bennett, Luke Daniel Bennett, John Jay Bennett, Ashely Anne Bennett and Whitney Lynn Bennett; his great grandchildren, Keeton, Karsyn, Alex, Aniston, Carter, Callahan, Pyper, Aidan Robert, Ellie, Fallon, Ora, Neija and Ashreya; his great great grandchild Raya; and his siblings, Herbert Bennett and Geraldine Sweeten. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (1107 S 25th St, Bethany, MO 64424). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church - Bethany (22311 US Hwy 136, Bethany, MO 64424).
