It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billie Burril Simmons of Bismarck, Missouri, born in Republic, Missouri, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Burril Miller and Lena Mae Miller (Schmidt); her daughter Diana Haynes; her husband Lester Tackett; and her brother Larry Joe Miller.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Olsen (Paul) of Pecatonica, Carolyn Kalkbrenner (Carl) of Arkansas, Michael Tackett (Yasuka) of Tokoyo, Cheryl Hendrix of Edgar Springs, Kenneth Tackett (Mary) of Springfield, Lin Cheung (William) of Oakville and Mary Oberreither of Eldon, Missouri.; and her siblings, Stephen Miller of Zion, Marcia McCreary of Ocala, Linda Warren and Sue Cox. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
