She was predeceased by: her parents, Grayfer Abney and Isla Abney (Evans); and her sisters, Pauline Abney and Charlotte Abney. She is survived by: her children, Rene Merideth of Los Angeles, California and James T. Merideth Jr. (Kim) of Columbia; and her grandchildren, James T. Merideth III, Jaimie Marie Merideth and Quang Merideth.
