The memory of Gene Foose of Blackburn, Missouri, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Thomas Foose and Adell Cartee Foose; his son Timothy Foose; and his siblings, Diane Taylor and Steve Foose.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kercher; his sons, Tony Foose (Rhonda) of Odessa and David Foose (Laura) of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Daniel Foose (Carina), Sara Foose and Elizabeth Foose; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Fallon Foose; and his siblings, Jim Foose (Kay) of Higginsville and Vickie Foose of Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home (226 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel (226 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A burial was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery - Blackburn (10373 220th Rd, Blackburn, MO 65321).
