She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Whitener and Edith Smith Whitener; her sisters, Dorothy and Joyce; and her husband Norman Joseph Cyr.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Cyr (Warren), Cindy (Greg Podlensy) and Carl Cyr (Amanda); and her siblings, Daniel (Linda) and Wanda. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
