He is survived by: his pet Blackie; his close friend Mutt; his wife Carol; his children, Kevin Bland of Mission Viejo, Michelle Bland of Redlands and Joel Bland (Joey) of Wappapello, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Hunter Bland, Jake Bland, Natalie Evans, Landen Sample and Haley Sample; and his sister Patricia Cooper (Larry).
The family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, or to the Humane Society of Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri, in Dave's memory.
