We announce the death of Dyer Garner Jr. (Bloomfield, Missouri), born in Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dyer D. Garner and William "Billie" Garner (Loflin); and his siblings, Glenda Becker, Bill Garner and David Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Clydie" Garner (Reynolds); his daughters, Marianne Hensley (Mark) of Sikeston and Kathy Curry of Dexter; his grandchildren, Tiffany Hensley of Coral Springs, FL, Amber Barnes of Dexter, Mark-Dyer Hensley of Sikeston and Zach Curry (Kacie) of Benton; and his siblings, Tim Garner of Sikeston, Mike Garner of Benton and Patricia Hesselrode of Murray, KY.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel (205 N Stoddard St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
