He is survived by: his wife Janice; his son Paul David (Heather Lankford); and his grandsons, Josh Oberhaus of Lee's Summit, Mitchell Oberhaus of Grain Valley and Sean Finny (Kacie) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri..

A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (17357 Stars and Stripes Way, Bloomfield, MO 63825).
