Jean Alice Swan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Alice Swan of Blue Eye, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean Alice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean Alice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Oostenryk and Etta Oostenryk (Bielema); her brother Elmer; her former husband I. E. Shel; and her husband Clifton Swan.
She is survived by: her sisters, Janice Gengenbach (Bill) and Alice Steele (Forrest); and her sister-in-law Shirley Gibbons. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
She requested that any memorial donations be given to the Animal Humane Society or Dogs for the Deaf.
