He was predeceased by: his parents, Corwin Mead and Evea Mead; his wife Carol McCarter Mead; his brother Pat Mead; and his granddaughter Erin.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Mead (Brenda), Steve Mead, Mike McCarter (Lisa), Mark McCarter (Kim), Kerry Hepler (Scott) and John McCarter (Kim). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
