It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Deitch of Blue Springs, Missouri, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gordon and Virginia Rose Deitch, Jr. (Vantrump). He is survived by: his children, April Dawn Deitch (Matthew Ackerman) of Windsor and Aaron Ross Deitch of Wheatland; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Dawn Oaks and Jacen Bentley Oaks; his siblings, David Lee Deitch (Amy) of Norborne, Jennifer Lalumondier (Jim) of Greenwood and Janet Horine (Randy) of Norborne; and his uncle Jack Vantrump (Glenda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thurman Funeral Home (108 S Pine St, Norborne, MO 64668). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Fairhaven Cemetery West Elmwood (31528 County Rd 137, Norborne, MO 64668).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Norborne to the Kitchen Fund.
