He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Aubrey and Grace Lee Mainard (Jackson); his children, Chester Michael Mainard and Misty Dawn Mainard; and his brothers, Gary, Kenneth and Doug.

He is survived by : his wife Terri Holm; his sister Alta JoAnn Williams; his children, Daniel Mainard (Nancy), David Chase (Mireille) and Connie Dent (Denton); and his grandchildren, Rana, Josh, Sunni, Lea and Niki. He is also survived by 15 greatgrandchildren.
