He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Blackburn Sr. and Fay Blackburn; and his brother Curtis Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Nell Blackburn; his children, Kimberly Stateler, Russell Blackburn and Chad Nixon; his grandchildren, Ilese Stateler, Hailey Stateler, Landon Stateler and Dalton Nixon; his great grandchildren, Myylan Townsend and Alexander Nixon; and his brothers, Chester Blackburn (Patricia), Cevin Blackburn (Cathy) and Charles Blackburn (Mary).
