He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Hoover and Margaret Hoover (Foster); his former wife Sandra Dryer; his son Matthew Hoover; and his half-brother Jim Clingan.
He is survived by: his wife Nedra Gordon Hoover; his son Adam; his daughter-in-law Shauna Hoover of Grain Valley; his grandchildren, Emilee, Alec, Jack and Max Hoover; his cousin Clayton; and his siblings, Mark Clingan (Donna), Charlie (Juli), Daniel Bell (Robin) and Jeanna Cissell (Rob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
