We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2026, Eleonora Liberty-Rice of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Senator Ernest and Elizabeth Liberty (Reeves); and her brother Dr. Clarence Liberty. She is survived by: her husband John Rice Jr. of Blue Springs, MO; her children, Honora Heili of Camp Hill, PA and Hubert "Yahya" Rice (Zeni Azlan) of Lee's Summit, MO; her grandchildren, Emma Heili, Imran Rice, Eleanor Heili (Musa Al-Sulaimani), Mariam Rice and Muhammad Rice; and her great grandchildren, Moses, Elaina and Isla Al-Sulaimani.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs (1600 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
