We announce the death of Eva J. Sanderson (Blue Springs, Missouri), who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 89. Eva will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Huge Gaston Hamilton and Ruby Leola Hardin; her husband Joe Carl Sanderson; her daughter Lisa Smothers; and her granddaughters, Jessica Koehler and Janessa Russel.
She is survived by: her sisters, Caroline Hensen, Gloria Gillis and Gwen Pace; her children, Lynne Collums (Dudly), Shane Sanderson, Jason Sanderson and Leslie Menchetti; her siblings, Ruth Cole, Billy Burt Hamilton, Peggy Hodge, Hugh Anderson Hamilton and Skeet Shelba Willis; and her great grandchild Ricky Durell Johnson. She is also survived by 4 sisters.
