With sadness, we share the passing of Janet Marie Smith of Blue Springs, Missouri. Janet, born on June 24, 1956, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lull and Patricia Lull; and her brother Michael Lull. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Smith; her children, Skyler Smith (Brandon Gapelu), Cody Smith, Cole Smith (Emily Hill) and Tyler Smith (Rose Barton); her grandchildren, Tiffany, Jaydan, Ashley, Cassidy, Lilly, Hunter, Kingston, Riley, Kaliya, Averi, Cody Lee and Wyatt; and her siblings, Cheryl Bristow (John) and Mark Lull (Stephen Anderson). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson-Speaks Chapel (1501 W Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64052). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the SIX Mile Cemetery (26005 E Blue Mills Rd, Sibley, MO 64088). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
