John left this world on February 26, 2026 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Robert Holt and Anna Fern Holt (Hoppe); and his brother James Holt. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Towles (Terry), Linda Dragon (Randy) and Cindy Booker (James); his grandchildren, Janaé Havill, Jeremy Towles, Jake Dragon, Dylan Dragon and Nate Booker; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Olivia, Mark and Dean; and his siblings, Bill Holt, Barbara Smith and Patricia Enloe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Impact Family Resource Center at First Baptist Blue Springs or to Friendly Baptist Church in Branson, MO and may be left in care if the funeral home.
