Julia Spencer Scott Obituary

We bid farewell to Julia Spencer Scott of Blue Springs, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 31, 2025 at the age of 72. Julia Spencer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent Beverly Spencer; her sister Cheryl Baresel; and her in-laws, Tom and Merle Scott. She is survived by: her husband Tom Scott; her daughters, Lauren Scott and Whitney Heinze (Daniel); her grandson Alexander; her sister Carolyn Overfelt Davis (Russ); and her siblings-in-law, Susan Swearingin (Dennis) and Duane Baresel. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Episcopal Church (4947 NE Chouteau Dr, Kansas City, MO 64119). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal of Church of the Good Shepherd.
