He is survived by: his wife Kim of John's Lutheran Church; his daughter Dr. Katie Oatman (Ryan); his granddaughters, Madi and Zoey of Lee's Summit, MO; his daughter Kelli Tran (Tony) of Elkhorn, Nebraska; his siblings, Laura Jo Swessinger of Des Moines, Linda Tubbs of Eldridge and Lary Long (Connie) of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; and his brothers-in-law, Kurt Haage (Rita) of Akron and Troy Haage (Becky) of Ankeny, Iowa..
