With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Joan Shepherd of Blue Springs, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on April 14, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Clarence and Iris Bertha Adams (Roles); her husband Joe Phillip Shepherd; her son Roland Parshall; and her siblings, Betty Davis, Reny Geddes, Virdilla Moe, Eva Mea Tye, Evelyn Wright, Jesse Adams, Nelson Adams and Howard Adams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Iris Hubbard (Gary), Theresa Protenic, Sheila Landes (Jim) and Darla Butler (Leon); her grandchildren, Beau, Cole, Amy, Ed, Joe, Ken, Jennifer, Katy, Jackie, Melissa, Kelly and Zach; and her sister Joy Tye. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to Shriners Children's Hospital.
