She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Chronister and Callie Chronister; and her brother Norman Lee Chronister. She is survived by : her husband Terrance L. Emery; her children, Scott (Jennifer), Spencer, Shane and Sabrina; her grandchildren, Sean (Cassie), Josie and Jack; her great grandchild Oliver; and her cousins, Timothy Wiese (Cindy), Lori Knox, Pam Heisey (Bryce) and Joe Wiese.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home (105 E Loula St, Olathe, KS 66061). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
