He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Youngman; his stepfather Kermit Youngman; and his grandparents, Ralph and Winona Wells. He is survived by: his wife Janie Matthews; his sister Barbara Youngman (Todd Neimeister) of Las Vegas, Nevada; his children, Steven Wells (David Shevlin) of Los Angeles, California and Kristi Warden (Chris) of Joplin, Missouri; his stepson Scott Matthews (Dana) of Lake Lotawana, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Drew Warden and Charlotte Wells.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blue Springs Elks Lodge (100 NE Brizendine Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64014).
