He is survived by: his wife Terri Basinger of Grain Valley, MO; his children, Jill Gunlock (Chad Frisch) of Independence, MO, Richard Basinger of Independence, MO and Brent Basinger (Lori) of Independence, MO; his grandchildren, Makayla Basinger, Cole Basinger, Boston Basinger, Coby Shonk and Colt Shonk; his brothers, Rob Basinger of Overland Park, KS and Stephen Basinger (Marcia) of Pleasant Hill, MO; his mother-in-law Donna Jenkins of Grain Valley, MO; and his sister-in-law Cathy Basinger of Grain Valley, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
