William Powers Sr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Powers Sr. of Blue Springs, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Powers and Jewell Powers (Stayton); his wife Betty Jo Powers; his children, Billie Marie Powers and Robert Joseph Powers; his son-in-law Dennis Ervin; his siblings, Robert Powers, Jess Perry and Tress Yeats; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Thrasher (Dale) of Blue Springs, MO and Cliff Scarborough (Nadine).

He is survived by: his children, Penny Lea Ervin, Raymond E. Powers of Blue Springs, MO and William R. Powers, Jr. of Blue Springs, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lobb Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
