He was predeceased by: his father Richard Dodson; and his grandparents, Ernest and Ollie Dodson. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn "Sue" Dodson (Cope) of Bogard; his wife Brandi Copple; his children, Sgt. 1st Class Cole Dodson (Stephanie) of Ft. Bragg, Whitney Boyd (Dalton) of Kansas City, Hope Dodson of Carrollton, Madison Dodson of Braymer, Julie Dodson of Bogard and Maddison Dodson of Bogard, Missouri; his grandchildren, Laeli Boyd, Owen Boyd, Scarlett Boyd, Brexlee Boyd, Everly Boyd, Logan Dodson, Jaxon Dodson, Oliver Adams, Clover Adams and Emerson Dodson; and his brothers, Richard Scott Dodson (Rebecca) of Hale and Terry Lynn Dodson (Rhonda) of Tina, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
