He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Golston (Miller); his son Mark Stuart Golston; his siblings, Ward Golston, Jerry Golston, Dolores Gagnier, Evelyn Golston, Barbara Smothers and Glatha Hooper; and his parents, Everett George and Sibyl Irma Golston (Eidson).
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Scott (Cynthia) and David Eugene (Daniel Sumile) of Kansas City; his grandchildren, James, Mariah and Joshua Golston; his sisters, Brenda Atkins (Doral) of Birmingham, AL, Beverly Bonner (Henry) of Bolivar and Cynthia Sansom (Ray) of Ozark, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Webster (Larry) of Macks Creek and Verla Golston (Roark) of Frisco, TX.
