She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Newman; her parents, Lewis Westfall and Mary Reeves Westfall; and her siblings, Earl, Ira, William, Frank, Everette Westfall, Marjorie Runyon, Elsie Lynn, Ellen Orton, Edith Ash and Frances Whisenand.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti (David Bolton), Kimberly (Greg Plett) and Julie Newman of O'Fallon, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Amy, Aaron Becker, Sarah Bolton, Kyle, Kelsey Bolton, Jennifer, Daniel Chesser, Jacob and Carolyn Plett; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Addison Becker, Baylor, Clara Chesser and Jack Plett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Playle-Rimer-Millard Family Funeral Chapel (2100 E Shepherd Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
