He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruel E. Bruce and Irene Bruce (DeGraffenreid). He is survived by: his daughters, Lucinda Friend (Robert) and Beth Lollar (Eddie); his siblings, George Bruce and Mary Bruce; his grandchildren, Jacob Thirion (Karen), Jason Friend (Kaylee), Lindsey Lovekamp (Bret), Preston Friend (Krista), Katie Martin (Casey), Clayton Friend (Kelsey) and Julie Evans (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Carli, Braden, Aubrey, Brock, Ella, Wyatt, Brody, Jackson, Luke, Blakely, Evie, Colby, Eli, Sage and Shiloh.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Butler Funeral Home - Bolivar (407 E Broadway St, Bolivar, MO 65613). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery S. (411 S Dunnegan Ave, Bolivar, MO 65613).
