He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Cook and Eva Cook (Wade); his spouse Fredonna Lee Looney; his brothers, Harold, Clois, Leonard and Wayne; and his friend Karen Dunn.

He is survived by: his children, Lowell Dean (Jeanne) and Lana Neill (Chad); his grandchildren, Amanda Neill, Cory Neill (Mikaela), Stephen Cook and Jacob Cook; his great grandchildren, Dawson Neill and Charley Neill; and his siblings, James (Darlene) and Ruth Randolf (Randy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CMH Hospice in Leland's name.
