He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Pirkle and Gayle Pirkle (Gaston); and his brother John Pirkle. He is survived by: his wife Cass Cope; his brothers, William Joe Pirkle of Overland Park and Charlie Lee Pirkle (Nancy) of Overland Park, Kansas; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Whitfield of St. Louis, Donita Pirkle of Bolivar, Missouri and Jim Cope of Roach, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
