Michael leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Michael’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Marion Hicks and Zadie Margaret Hicks (Cantrell); and his wife Janice Jo Jones. He is survived by: his children, Janine Sitton (Kevin), Jodie McCrickard (Ray), Daniel Hicks (Lori) and Doug Hicks (Tonya). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North (316 E Broadway St, Bolivar, MO 65613). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
