He was predeceased by: his wife Jan Dixon; his mother Shirley Bryant; his mother-in-law Jean Quillin; his grandfather Hadley Dixon; and his father John Dixon.

He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Haugsted; his son-in-law Dakota Haugsted; his grandchildren, Kayden, Greyson, Brynlee and Makynlee Haugsted; his brother David Dixon; his sister-in-law Beth Dixon; his nephews, Jacob and Ethan Dixon; his niece Laura Dixon; his brothers-in-law, Jack Quillin, Jim Quillin and Joe Quillin; his nieces, Jacque Quillin Rooffener and Tisha Clark; and his son Mike.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Polk County Humane Society, a cause that was very close to Mike's heart.
