He is survived by: his sons, Brian Mayfield of Marshfield and Timothy (Melissa Mayfield) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Ashlie (William Thompson), Andrew Wood and Theodore Mayfield; his great grandchildren, Levi and Addison Thompson; his siblings, Joyce Stewart, Reta (Mayfield), Lynn (Carol Mayfield) and James "Glendel" Mayfield; his sister-in-law Ruby Mayfield; and his significant other Cecelia "Cee Cee" Gulick.
