We bid farewell to Ruby Louise (Bolen) Woods (Bolivar, Missouri), born in Dunnegan, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 96. Ruby Louise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ruby Louise leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ruby Louise may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Bolen and Helen Bolen (Hamor); and her siblings, Frank, Roy Bolen, Viola Ellis, Mary Jacob and Dorothy Bixler.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pitts Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Lindley Prairie Cemetery (State Hwy 96, Missouri).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bolivar United Methodist Church in Ruby's memory.
