He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewell Henson and Sophia Henson (House); his wife Ellen Henson (Hall); his siblings, Virgil "Bo" Henson, Forrest Henson, Gene Henson, Shirdell Henson, Jim Henson, Robert "Linn" Henson, Reva Koester, Wanda Lee Henson and Edward Hall; and his sister-in-law Dawn Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Ewell Henson and Angela Mackley; his grandchildren, Sam Henson, Karlie Mackley and Madison Sexton (Tyler); his great grandchild Charolette Mackley; his sisters, Elsie Stroud and Janice Boyd; and his sister-in-law Sharon Henson.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel (313 Benham St, Bonne Terre, MO 63628). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Bonne Terre Cemetery (401599 Poplar St, Bonne Terre, MO 63628).
