We announce the death of Morris Singleton (Bonne Terre, Missouri), who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 81. Morris will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaskel Singleton and Paulina Floy Singleton; and his siblings, Larry Singleton, Mary Willis and Juanita McIntire.
He is survived by: his spouse Dabra Willingham; his daughters, Shelly and Terri; his son-in-law Jeff Williams; his grandchildren, Jay, Kelsey, Terri and Darrell Coulter; his great grandchildren, Courtney and Ty; his children, Della (Pratt) and Taylor Heckemeyer; his grandchild Monroe; his child Courtney; and his grandchildren, Penelope and Coulter. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bonne Terre Chapel (313 Benham St, Bonne Terre, MO 63628). A masonic service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hillview Memorial Gardens (5229 Westmeyer Rd, Farmington, MO 63640).
