He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Stanford and Hazel Anna Young (Irasek); his son Danial Young; his brother Ronald Leland Young; and his granddaughter April Young.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia (Bob Iraci), Laurinda, Valerie (Will Riney) and Richard Arden (Susan Steinke); and his siblings, Verona Morgan (Young) and David Young (Mary Lou Farmer). He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
The Kohler Foundation partnered with the Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc to preserve and exhibit his collective work.
